Job Description: Revenue Management Analyst

Summary:

In the Revenue Management Analyst role, you will support Brown Foodservice and its Leadership Team to successfully manage company profitability. You will directly be responsible for company pricing and rebate management. The Revenue Management Analyst will be responsible for assisting the leadership team to track, analyze, and provide profitability insights which lead to margin expansion and total cost reduction. You will report directly to our Office Supervisor at our Louisa, KY location. You will be an essential part of our team that has been servicing customers and delivering fine foods since 1942.

Responsibilities:

· Perform weekly pricing review and price book updates.

· Identify pricing level changes and analyze impacts to profitability.

· Conduct performance analysis and generate insights to identify improvement opportunities.

· Ensure data integrity and configuration accuracy in pricing system.

· Work with cross-functional team to collect inputs and design requirements to problem solve or develop pricing recommendations.

· Conduct regular revenue and insights reporting to management at all levels of the company.

· Be a company subject matter expert for pricing and rebate management software.

· Serve as gatekeeper for pricing and rebate programs to ensure their alignment with company strategy and financial objectives.

Input vendor and customer contracted programs in tracking software.

· Determine recommended pricing overrides for managed pricing programs.

· Work with company IT and third-party software administrators to further knowledge of tools required to continuously improve revenue tracking systems.

· Work with company management to ensure mission critical reporting and business intelligence reporting is accurate and delivered.

· Performs other duties as necessary.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, business administration, or related area.

· 3 years’ relevant experience.

· Previous customer service experience.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

· Previous knowledge of accounting and/or revenue/rebate tracking software, experience with TrackMax platform strongly preferred.

Certifications- Preferred:

· Microsoft Office Specialist or equivalent certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Strong written and exceptional verbal communication skills.

· Exemplary attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Demonstrated quantitative analytics and computer skills.

· Ability to work with large sets of data without becoming intimidated.

· Possess general business acumen.

· Ability to participate in multiple workstreams/projects in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities and meeting deadlines

· Collaborative team player who can synthesize feedback and direction from multiple stakeholders

· Self-starter with positive attitude.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
