The primary objective for this Site Leadposition will be the management of the day-to-day operations of a new warehousingfacility in Monroe, LA. This is apallet-in-pallet out operation primarily servicing palletized goods in abusiness-to-business environment.

Your background must include strongexperience managing shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations. The successful candidate should have warehousingexperience with a minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse management and SAPinventory tracking.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Brown Eagle Site Leader will:

• Work with Company management to set up a new warehousing facility in an existing building.
• Ensure the correct product, in the correct quantity and correct condition are received and shipped from the warehouse.
• Maintain a safe workplace, ensure complete and on-time delivery of inbound products, verify inbound and outbound shipment accuracy and customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and facility performance measures and labor within the warehouse.
• Provide leadership to Logistics employees through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
• Accountable for leadership of ~5-10 employees in problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements and improved working relationships.
• Managing the team’s engagement in receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling and shipping in the warehouse
• Coach, council, and terminate underperformers to maintain a level of expectations from employees.
• Approving timesheets and PTO for employees.
• Ensure compliance with client standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, OSHA, safety, and DOT regulations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent work history/experience
• 5 years warehouse experience
• 2 years management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of SAP or equivalent
• Proven leadership skills, the ability to motivate, create accountability, and inspire teamwork
• Pass a Functional Assessment verifying their ability to kneel, squat, lift and carry 50lbs, climb ladders, etc.
