Brown County Inn is Hiring a Banquet Server Near Nashville, IN

We are looking for a couple Banquet Servers to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our guests. This is a part-time, seasonal position. Most of our events are on Saturdays but could have other pick-up banquets available on other days. Our peak Banquet season is May through October. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up events, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that all guests are satisfied. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and outgoing personality, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. No experience required.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages.

Abilities and Physical Requirements Needed

  • Ability to stand and walk for 5-10 hours per day.
  • Transport food and beverage items to any guest table continually throughout a shift
  • Safely move about in all areas of the event space
  • Lift and carry heavy trays weighing up to 30 lbs from the kitchen and bar to the dining room and vice versa
  • Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop and carry.
  • Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
