NOW HIRING A Collision ESTIMATORThe Collision Estimator will inspect vehicle damages, assess repairs, and lead customers through the vehicle repair process. The role will be responsible for creating and submitting insurance forms, estimating repair costs, and collecting payments. The Collision Estimator will also liaise between the customer, insurance company, and parts vendors to ensure the repair process is completed seamlessly and efficiently. We offer an industry-competitive salary depending on experience. The right candidate may also be eligible to receive up to $5,000 for relocation expenses (some conditions may apply).

WHAT WILL I DO?
  • Conduct visual inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage.
  • Identify all necessary repairs and replacements required to restore the vehicle to pre-accident condition.
  • Calculate repair/replacement costs by considering labor hours, parts, materials, and other services required for each vehicle repair.
  • Provide concise and accurate estimates to customers and adjustors.
  • Determine salvage value of total loss vehicles.
  • Create comprehensive repair plans outlining required steps, parts, and labor required to complete repairs according to established timelines.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a Collision Estimator or in a similar role within the automotive repair industry is required.
  • Proven experience working with insurance companies is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and an insurable driving record are required.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR), and other relevant certifications are preferred.
