Brown & Brown is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida!

Assist the Marketing Department with marketing of new accounts, in accordance with established policy, procedures, and objectives.

Maintain and cultivate productive carrier relationships.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

Rate submissions and complete applications and other required documentation Assist the marketing department in obtaining and analyzing quotations and declinations from various companies.

• Ensure that systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations are adhered to by the department and alert management should any problems arise.
• Attend Marketing Team meetings as scheduled.
• Transition bound accounts to the respective account management teams.
• Prepare proposals and coordinate the layout of the proposal and presentation with producers / account executives Document all marketing activity in the agency management system.
• Prepare invoices (blue cards), and required documentation to bind accounts.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED :

440 license is preferred

0-3 years experience in agency marketing.

Familiarity with industry forms, coverage, and an overall familiarity with the insurance marketplace.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Online rating tools preferred.

P&C Insurance License preferred, or willingness to obtain within three months
