Summary:

Manages the 24-hour emergency clinical nursing services. Ensures the delivery of evidence-based standards of care and services. Ensures the overall safety of the healthcare team and patients. Acts as a liaison between the emergency medical services (EMS)provider, local hospitals, regional trauma centers, and regional and state regulatory agencies.

Education:

Essential:

* BSN or Bachelor's degree required.

Essential:

* Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, BSN or MSN).

Experience:

Essential:

* Five years or related acute hospital emergency department experience, including leadership.

Credentials:

Essential:

* Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or holds a multi-state nursing license; or able to obtain license prior to start is required.

* CEN Certification preferred.

* Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.
