The Policy Services Analyst should have a strong understanding of the organization’s policies and regulations as well as the ability to participate in developing training for entire workforce on areas of concern identified by leadership. Participates in the deployment of processes, guidelines, and forms to create efficiencies. Responsible for supporting all policy requests, including policy creation, review, revision, and retirement processes. Maintains Broward Health’s policy portal and policy archives to ensure compliancy. Collaborates with stakeholders throughout the organization to promote timely review of all policies, and to facilitate the appropriate review and collaboration of policies during the policy approval process is essential. Instructs employees in the use of the policy template to ensure policies are submitted in accordance with policy-formatting standards. Understands organization’s policies/regulations and ensures appropriate application of same on all contracting activities. Participates and attends meetings related to contracts, compliance, and Broward Health operations. Responsible for creating and maintaining reports related to policy and contracting matters as well as submitting status updates to Management.
Interacts with all levels of staff across multiple departments both in writing and orally, including Executive Leadership. Strong communication and analytical skills required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervisions required. Ability to perform well under pressure while priorities required. Exceptional work ethic and professional demeanor required.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of all relevant policies and procedures throughout Broward Health, as well as applicable legislation and regulations. Performs any other tasks and duties as assigned by the Chief Compliance Officer.
Bachelor’s degree obtained through a formal 4-year program. 2-4 years of professional experience in research, performance measurement and/or
healthcare experience or policy development or program planning. Excellent written, verbal, and proficient presentation skills is a must. Proficiency in MS Office
(Including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
