The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Permit/Licensing Customer Specialist to support the Building Code Division.
General Description
Leads in assisting customers with general and specific information concerning permitting and licensing activities.
Works under close to general supervision according to set procedures, but determines how or when to complete tasks.
Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsRequires two (2) years of experience in customer service work, including one (1) year of experience in environmental protection work, construction licensing and permitting, planning and development reviews, impact fees, or zoning and land use regulations including right-of-way permits, child care licensing, or closely related experience.

None.
Preferences
Fluent in Spanish and/or Creole (Speak, read and write)
1 year of County Specific Software experience (Posse)
2 Years experience in Construction related industry
