Our team is looking for both Full-Time and Part-Time Dishwashers to join or fast-paced casual dining team. Experience in a high-volume professional kitchen is helpful but not required.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform Janitorial/cleaning duties as requested including Front of House floors and bathrooms
• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
• Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
• Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly
• Empty trash containers regularly
• Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
• Clean food prep stations and equipment

THE SMALL DETAILS CHER:

There’s a couple of things we need to let you know to make sure you’re the right candidate:

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time (4-8 hours).
• Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions during high volume periods.
• Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor by stairways (minimum of 20 steps)
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and can push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
• Must be able to respond to visual and audio cues. (lights, sounds, voices, music)
• Must be able to work in an area containing dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives. (multiple orders, change in workflow)
• Must be about to speak clearly and persuasively. (We’re a team and communication is key.)
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must have excellent teamwork and customer service/communication skills.
• Experience in a high-volume professional kitchen is helpful but not required.

License Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Food Workers Safe Handling Certification where required by law.
