Position Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with people in different roles to investigate business needs, and design user-friendly solutions.
• Analyze existing programs and apps to identify issues or areas for improvement, and suggest solutions.
• Document your analysis findings and solutions.
• Create wireframes and mockups.
• Create documentation or assist in creating guidelines for designing internal components and ensuring consistency.
• Participate in design critiques and ideation sessions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Possess fundamental knowledge of user experience principles, interface design, visual design, and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Proficient in creating user flows, site maps, wireframes, and mockups.
• Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Adobe XD, and/or Sketch.
• Proficiency in CSS and HTML.
• Basic understanding of coding languages like JavaScript and Sass is advantageous.
• Previous exposure to front-end web development is a bonus.
• Experience working in an Agile environment is highly regarded.

Education and/or Experience

• Must hold high school diploma and actively working toward a bachelor’s degree.
• Advanced education in related field is desired.
• One year of general work experience is desired.
• Have a portfolio that shows you have a strong understanding of UXUI design principles and best practices is desired.
