The cornerstone of Brotherhood Crusade’s work is helping low-income under-served residents and vulnerable individuals such as seniors and youth improve their quality of life through the provision of trauma-informed youth development programs, services for the elderly, remedial education, services for the homeless, health education, financial education, appreciation & awareness of arts and cultural, physical fitness & nutrition, life & social skills training, diversity appreciation training, employment readiness & job placement, counseling, and the provision of emergency food, clothing, and shelter. Brotherhood Crusade also supports efforts to boost the capacity and effectiveness of small grassroots nonprofits that provide essential services for youth.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid California Driver's License. Bilingual (Spanish and English) applicants are preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS WHILE PERFORMING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND EQUIPMENT USED
The successful candidate will be required to report to and work from the office complex at least five days a week. Offices are traditionally equipped with computers, telephones, desks, chairs, and office machines. Additionally, each office offers an instructional classroom from which orientations and trainings are conducted.
SALARY RANGE:
This is a dynamic full-time position that will be defined in its entirety as the program develops. Benefits and salary will be negotiated based on experience, education, and the needs of the program.

This program is unique in that the successful candidate may be working with individuals who, heretofore, have never been exposed to the subject matter and, as such, may not readily adopt the precepts or methodologies. Moreover, these clients may exhibit stress-related emotions such as tension, frustration, and anger. The successful candidate must understand this phenomenon and possess a psychologically stable profile and a demeanor that minimizes the opportunity that these emotions will escalate to conflict.

SCHEDULE
Must be available to work Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm and Tuesday and Thursday, 11:00am –8:00pm and 2nd and 4th Saturday of the Month from 9:00am – 1:00pm. No exceptions.
COVID SCHEDULE
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the center hours are from 9:00am – 6:00pm Monday through Friday and there may be a hybrid schedule where one day may be virtual.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Due to our in-person and in office work with LAUSD, City of LA, County of LA and other work partners that require our team to be vaccinated we require that all potential candidates must be COVID-19 vaccinated with either, Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson.
