WHAT YOU’LL DO

Quality Inspections

• Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting materials and working with management to determine the next steps in the material rejection process

• Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests and communicating required adjustments to production supervisor

• Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work occurs with the line supervisor

• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarize re-work and waste and then input the data into the quality database

• Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs as needed

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following established safety standards standards and procedures

Special Projects

• Participate in special projects as needed to meet Technical Solutions departmental strategic objectives

• Provide feedback and input as possible to improve special project quality, processes and procedures

ABOUT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

Education

• Associate's Degree (Electronics Technology) – Preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a production or manufacturing facility, assembling new or refurbished products

• Minimum 1 year of experience inspecting materials, parts, or finished products in a production or manufacturing facility

Licenses/Certifications

• ASQ – Certified Quality Inspector – Preferred

Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Strong written communication skills

• Ability to read and comprehend technical work instructions

• Ability to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations

• Ability and willingness to work in a team environment

• The annualized salary (or hiring) range for this position is $34,320 - $39,520 ($16.50/hour - $19.00/hour)

• Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
