• Write and follow developmentally appropriate lesson plans, following Creative Curriculum
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized
• Supervise children in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, ensuring their health and safety at all times
• Assess each child’s developmental needs both formally and informally using designated assessment/screening tools
• Communicate effectively with staff, children and parents

Salary:

$16.00 to $18.00 an hour

Range based on education and experience

Requirements

• Possess a CDA, Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift children up to 50 pounds as assistance is needed onto changing table or other equipment, sitting on low chairs and on the floor to communicate with children at eye level
• Excellent problem solving, communication and written skills
