Brookwood International are looking for an Assistant Project Manager within construction to work with an established Commercial Construction Company based in Asheville, NC area who specialise in Healthcare, Hospitality, Mission Critical and K12 builds to name a few.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per annum
Location: Surrounding areas of Ashville, NC
Benefits: Vehicle allowance or vehicle gas card, 50% contributed healthcare and 401K match
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that commercial projects are well-organised, efficiently managed, and successfully completed. You will support the project manager in a wide range of activities, from planning and budgeting to communication and quality control, ensuring that all project goals are met.
Responsibilities:
Supporting site activities: Assisting with the day-to-day management of project sites, including site safety, logistics, and coordination.
Assisting in the development of project plans: Helping to create project schedules, work plans, and timelines.
Resource allocation: Assisting in the identification and assignment of resources needed for the project.
Coordination of tasks: Ensuring that tasks are assigned and understood by all team members.
Internal and external communication: Facilitating communication between the project team, stakeholders, and clients.
Status reporting: Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to senior project managers and stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance: Ensuring that all project activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
Developing mitigation strategies: Helping to develop strategies to manage and mitigate identified risks.
Ensuring quality standards: Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
Coordinating with subcontractors: Helping to manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring they meet their contractual obligations.
