To be a Teacher Aide, you’ll need:

• High school diploma/GED required; college credits preferred
• NYS Teacher Assistant Certification (ATAS) within 6 months of hire date
• Qualified NYS Driver’s License
• Physical capacity: Aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of students
• CBC Clearance
• Related classroom experience a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated willingness and aptitude working with children with intellectual, physical and other developmental disabilities

Salary: $17.50/hr
