Role: Senior Snowflake Data Analyst/Developer

Duration: Contract-to-Permanent Hire

As a Sr Snowflake Analyst/Developer, you will be joining the Data Sourcing & Performance Management team with our Fortune 30 telecom client. This team works with the Chief Data Office to build and maintain data structures used for creating executive scorecards, dashboards, and ad-hoc reports, ultimately enabling data-driven insights. Cloud-based Azure platforms supported include Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, and MS SQL Server.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and resolve production issues for data and processes on supported cloud-based applications including Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Support issue resolution of sustainment tickets, complex data analysis, performance optimization, user story development activities, and technical & business analysis of supported applications.
• Assist with data analysis and data engineering on the development/enhancement of user stories on the supported applications.
• Follow development sprints (60–90-day sprints) with monthly release cycles.
• Responsible for business requirements, data analysis & data modeling, as well as pre/post deployment validation.

Qualifications:

• 5 years' experience in Data Analytics and utilizing Snowflake.
• Experience with cloud-based Azure platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, and MS SQL Server.
• Strong data analytics skills for process and application support.
• Experience analyzing and resolving production issues based off priority and defined timelines.
• Ability to communicate how data analytics impacts the business side of the house.
• Ability to work with business partners and reporting teams to create user stories.
• Telecom industry experience would be a plus.
• Experience handling large amounts of data, ideally customer behavior data.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
