Summary:
ln this position, you will collaborate with senior management, stakeholders, and the team to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership & mentorship fostering respect and trust to inspire others to pursue excellence. Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent communication skills required
- The essential functions of this role are as follows
- Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.
- Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.
- Define users and project team member's roles and responsibilities on the project.
- Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals.
- Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met
- Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide guidance to lower-level Project Managers including recommending training and experience.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Experience in IT Project Management
- Prior experience working on Large software projects as a Senior IT PM (Highly desired)
- Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools, and approaches to development and implementation
- Experience with multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall
- Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of SDLC to program/business folks who have little to no exposure to large software projects
- Ability to work with technical team members, and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers and overcome obstacles
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- PMP Certified
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $53.27 per hour
