Responsibilities include preparing and delivering small group or individual instruction supporting student progress in identified (IEP or EST goals) as well as participating as part of the program team through morning and closing meetings and shared activities. Monitor student progress throughout the program and write progress notes documenting achievement on goals. Progress notes are due within two weeks of the completion of the program. (requires SLP endorsement).
7.75 hours/day to include a minimum of 45 minutes of preparation daily and 30 minutes of paid lunch. May include additional 2 hours for initial planning and another 1 hour per every 5 students served for completion of progress notes written at the end of the session. Preparation work needs to be completed prior to the week summer programming begins and progress note completion needs to be completed after the program is over and before the start of school.
