Brooklyn United Music and Arts program seeks a swimming instructor to teach variations of swimming strokes, as well as water safety rules to students at all levels of experience.
The ideal candidate will be local to Brooklyn, New York, have experience working in an urban setting, and experience as a swim instructor. The position involves teaching children basic swimming strokes and techniques, supervising groups of children in a pool environment, and enforcing water safety rules.
The ideal candidate will be certified by an accredited organization in teaching both swimming strokes and lifesaving classes to students.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- After school
- Weekends as needed
