The Albert C. Wiltshire Employment Center recruits qualified candidates for positions within the Brooklyn Navy Yard, a 300-acre industrial park housing over 400 businesses within the manufacturing, food, media, technology, and creative fields.

A Brooklyn Navy Yard-based visual imagery manufacturer are seeking a full-time permanent Sewing Operator.

Candidate must have:

• GED/HS diploma
• 2 years of experience operating an Industrial sewing machine; ie. Singer
• Ability to Cut, Hand sew, and quality control
• Ability to work the evening shift: 5-12:30AM M-F
• Ability to speak English

The majority of the work will consist of sewing silicone gasket to the perimeter of printed graphics for retail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
