Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Dialysis Nurse. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients with kidney disease who require dialysis treatment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Administer dialysis treatment to patients with kidney disease
- Monitor patients during dialysis sessions and make adjustments as necessary
- Assess patients' vital signs, fluid status, and overall well-being
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, dialysis treatment, and self-care techniques
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting
- Experience administering injections and medication
- Proficient in IV insertion and management
- Familiarity with ventilator management is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of family planning, medical imaging, infant care, nursing home, and home care practices is beneficial
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [state]
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
