Brooklyn Bedding manufacturing in Glendale, AZ will proudly make foam in our state-of-the-art facility for our mattresses. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced machine operator interested in learning a new operation.

Responsibilities

Collaboration with pour line operations team to produce foam for manufacturing team.

• Assist in setting up Pour line
• Operate pour line machinery
• Monitor and manage critical pour line steps for foam pours
• Disassemble clean and re-assemble mixer and machinery used for foam pour
• Ensures raw materials are handled properly
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in department

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Must be comfortable working around chemicals and adhere to industry leading safety policies and protocols.
• Must utilize proper PPE Will be required to be fitted for and wear a respirator and pass annual required health and wellness testing
• Ability to become certified in Hazmat and Hazwopper (All certifications and trainings will be provided).
• You must be willing to work on a team as well as a self directed individual contributor
• Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Experience operating heavy machinery in a manufacturing setting is REQUIRED.
