Position: As Needed Bus Driver

Qualifications: Possess CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement, has been fingerprinted by the NJDOE, Medical Examiner’s Certificate

Relationships: Reports directly to the Principal

Responsibilities: Safely operate the school bus when going on trips with students.

General Duties:

1. Check that the bus in in good working order.

2. Make sure there is enough gas for the trip.

3. Drive students to and from school trips.

4. Maintain order in the bus so not to be distracted by the students when driving.

5. Check to assure that all students are off the bus when at destination and at the end of the run.

6. Report any concerns related to students or the bus to the principal.

Other Duties:

1. Sign in with the Secretary and receive instruction on the day’s schedule.

2. Receive a key and fob if used in the school.

3. Check out with the School Secretary at the end of the day.

4. Return the key and fob.

5. Performs other duties as may be designated by the Executive Director/Superintendent.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.31 - $23.90 per hour

Experience:

• School bus driving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• CDL (Required)
