The School Leader of this charter school is responsible for organizing and fostering a positive, safe learning environment that is conducive to meeting the needs of all students, staff and parents. This includes such responsibilities as: leading, directing, counseling, and supervising a variety of personnel and programs; creating effective parent, teacher, and child communications; supporting, encouraging, mentoring, and evaluating staff; fostering teamwork between teachers and among staff and parents; and managing budget items. The School Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the school. The School Leader hires, trains, evaluates and supervises the school-based faculty and staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum five (5) years of successful teaching experience in a K-12 setting

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field from accredited college or university

• Master’s degree preferred

• Certification in Education Leadership preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• Demonstrated successful leadership in a senior administrative position in a public,

private, or charter school, preferably as a School Leader

• Ability to collaborate with staff to identify & achieve school improvement goals

• Extensive knowledge and expertise in curriculum and instruction

• Demonstrated knowledge of charter school statutes and compliance requirements

• Demonstrated ability in data management, data collection, and data analysis

• Clear understanding of the academic goals, mission, and philosophy of the school

• Commitment to accountability, including high expectations for student achievement

• Demonstrated success in encouraging parental involvement

• Track record of professional success

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
