TheDirector of Recruitment is responsible for a wide range of HR tasks and works directly with the HR team at the Brooke Grove Campus.

  • Oversees HR functions on the WRV campus. These functions include but are not limited to recruitment and selection, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, HRIS, and HR data and analytics.
  • Oversee and/or delegate the lifecycle of the recruitment process. The recruitment lifecycle includes sourcing candidates, creating job postings and requisitions, pre-screening potential candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, processing background checks and references, making offers to candidates, and scheduling onboarding.

  • Builds relationships with surrounding schools that offer a Nursing and GNA program and offer to support their clinical hours at our facility.

  • Oversee and market the employee referral program

  • Propose other creative solutions for recruitment of staff as well as retention

  • Coordinate and conduct general orientation for all staff members

  • Aide in planning of training and development of employees

  • Oversee a variety of HR functions to include but not limited to:

  • Utilize the HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure all employee records are up to date and confidential

  • Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation and work with the Director of Human Resources to resolve any issues.

  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies

  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, such number of openings, number of hires, agency usage, turnover rates, etc.

  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations

  • Educate employees on benefits offered by company and ensure employees are signed up in a timely manner

  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

  • Collaborates and assists with other HR team members on various HR projects as well as with the Payroll team.

  • Track expiration of nursing and aide licenses and CPR certifications

  • Coordinate and organize training of dementia education for all new hires

  • Track all bonuses of employees and collaborate with Payroll to ensure employees are being paid bonuses on effective dates

  • Make relevant changes in a timely manner to employee profiles when submission of payroll forms are sent

Requirements of a Director of Recruitment:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR equivalent experience in Human Resources.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment standards and regulations preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and of Google Suite.
  • Ability to enter and retrieve data using keyboard, mouse, computer systems and other office equipment.
  • Experience and proficiency with ADP or other HRIS system .
