Compensation Range: $50,000-60,000 per year

Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience

Job Description

Looking for a career with a purpose? We are actively recruiting experienced Clinical Counselors who will be responsible for the overall coordination of patient care while in residential services. Job duties include integration with family services, sessions, communication with referral sources, assessment of patient progress and communication to the clinical team regarding special treatment needs and procedures.

  • Responsible for the overall coordination of patient care while in residential services, including integration with family services, sessions, communication with referral sources, assessment of patient progress and communication to the clinical team regarding special treatment needs and procedures.
  • Overall coordination of a patients' care while in residential services, including integration with family services, sessions, communication with referral sources, assessment of patient progress, and communication to the clinical team regarding special treatment needs and procedures.
  • Complete initial patient assessments (bio psychosocial assessment, patient goals and treatment planning).
  • Utilize multi-disciplinary treatment team to determine appropriate level of care and identify behavioral health needs that may require external placement outside of Brookdale Premier Recovery.
  • Facilitate group therapy, and individual counseling sessions.
  • Document treatment plans, progress notes, treatment plan updates, case consultations, phone calls, and discharge summaries in the patient medical record.

This is a full time position at one of our Detox/Residentialprogram.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Human Services (Master's degree preferred)
  • 2 years' experience in addiction treatment (preferred)
  • Experience in facilitating group therapy
  • Specialty training preferred (MI, DBT, Art Therapy, MBSR, CPT CBT)
  • Residential inpatient treatment experience (strongly preferred)
  • Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule
