Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled System Integration Engineer to join our team. This role is essential in enabling seamless integrations between our system and various Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems across healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with expertise in Java, and possess the ability to design and implement integration processes tailored to our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between our digital health platform and EMR systems.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their specific integration requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Conduct on-site visits to client locations for system implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and effective integration processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of integration designs, processes, and customer interactions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance integration capabilities and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java / Spring Boot and other relevant technologies (e.g., SQL, RESTful APIs, K8s, AWS, XML/JSON).
  • Familiarity with healthcare integration standards (HL7, FHIR) and EMR systems is a significant plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to design and implement complex integration solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented mindset, and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to client sites mostly within the specified states.
  • Ability to work from the Boston office three times a week when not traveling.
