Culinary Camp Program Instructor

Job Description

The Culinary Camp Program Instructor at Berkshire Hills is responsible with creating and implementing culinary activities for our campers and retreat guests.

While helping to manage the activities, the Culinary Program Instructor works with the program director to design and implement creative evening programs and special events for the campers and retreat guests.

They will be responsible for not only planning but leading many of these activities, held in the culinary studios, for campers and retreat guests.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Ability to lead or assist in various culinary activities, including training other culinary program staff.
• Ability to identify and provide for the health and well-being of campers

Essential Job Functions :

• Work with the program director to create and facilitate original culinary programs for campers and retreat guests
• Facilitate daytime activities, special events, and evening activities.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of campers during program activities
• Assist staff in improving quality of culinary programing
• Maintain supervision of campers while on duty
• Work with all of the different age groups at Berkshire Hills to create and facilitate engaging programing with them throughout the summer
