Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher

In this role, you’ll provide exceptional support to the kitchen staff by ensuring dishes, utensils, equipment, and kitchen surfaces are clean and sanitary

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwasher or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Stock supplies such as food, dishes, and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators.
• Inspect and clean areas of responsibility.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick-up areas. Clean trash cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking or serving as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk during 8 hour shifts.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves in store rooms and freezers.
• Ability to work in a frequently hot and damp environment and use proper precautions with various types of chemicals.
• Ability to frequently immerse hands in water.

Qualifications:

Previous experience preferred. Applicable knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation procedures. Professional appearance and demeanor are a must. Maintaining a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance, aligned with Crawford Hospitality specific brand standards, is required.

Schedule: Sunday – Saturday, 4pm-close (out time varies based on daily business, typically 11pm-midnight).
