Brockton Area Multi-Servi is Hiring a Community Coordinator Near Brockton, MA
The Community Coordinator is the liaison with health and human services providers, advocacy organizations and communities served by the local Women, Infant and Children Program (WIC). The Community Coordinator builds an active, coordinated referral network and collaborative working relationships between community agencies, groups and WIC to promote the utilization of WIC services. The community coordinator assists with activities to strengthen the communication with WIC participants about their eligibility
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of community and neighborhoods served by local WIC program.
- Must be proficient on the computer with microsoft word and excel
- Able to maintain social media, such as, Facebook , Instagram, and our website
- Bilingual in Portuguese and English preferred.
- At least two (2) years of experience in community or health and human service preferred.
- Valid driver's license in state of residency and own means of reliable transportation.
- Good communication skills in oral and written English.
- Well-organized, systematic approach to work.
