Architectural Historian / Project Manager – Entry Level
Brockington and Associates is seeking an entry-level architectural historian and project manager based in our Atlanta, GA office for architectural history and archival project work throughout the US.

Minimum education: MA/MHP/MS in architectural history, historic preservation, history, archaeology, or a closely related field.
Minimum experience: No professional experience required, but applicants are encouraged to describe applied knowledge gained through internships or other relevant project work.
You must have the ability to:
• Conduct fieldwork - including historic resource surveys and evaluations using National Register criteria;
• Conduct archival research using primary and secondary resources;
• Participate in projects involving multidisciplinary teams;
• Effectively discuss projects with colleagues and clients;
• Manage budgets and schedules; and
• Write professional technical reports and publications.
Frequent out-of-town travel, physical labor, and time spent in outdoor conditions are requirements of this job. We are particularly interested in candidates with cross-training in archaeology and/or interest in both architectural history and archaeology. A basic understanding of the National Historic Preservation Act is required.
You must be able to work as a member of a diverse team, manage projects, and complete other delegated project tasks within designated schedules. You should possess strong communication, writing, and time management skills, and you should be able to work professionally with clients and government agencies.

For this position, annual salary range is $45,000 to $54,000, commensurate with experience. We offer a generous company benefits package, including health, dental, vision, disability, life, 401(k), and paid time off.
