Essential Functions:
- Manages multiple medium to large-scale projects acrossvarious business units, ensuring strategic alignment with organizationalgoals.
- Develop detailed project plans to achieve objectiveswithin preset budgets and timelines through meticulous planning,direction, and coordination of activities.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, prepareagendas, and disseminate meeting minutes and project-related documentationto maintain transparency and engagement. and help facilitate projectapproval and governance process.
- Manage all project lifecycle phases: planning, scopedefinition, design, execution, and delivery to ensure comprehensiveoversight.
- Monitor project progress against established milestonesand budgetary guidelines and prepare detailed status reports to provideongoing visibility to stakeholders.
- Select, negotiate with, and manage external consultantsand vendors to enhance project outcomes.
Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize andoptimize project management processes and methodologies. - Evaluate and enhance project management practicesacross business units to remove barriers, boost efficiency, and optimizeresource utilization.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to keepall stakeholders informed about the project's progress, risks, andresults.
- Collaborate with business unit managers to gatherfeedback and recommend improvements for future project strategies.
- This position may require travel.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability toinfluence and engage diverse teams.
- Proficient in conflict management, negotiation, andproblem-solving.
- High proficiency in using project management softwaresuch as Smartsheet and/or Jira.
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-pacedenvironment.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with a meticulousattention to detail.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time andwithin budget.
- Competence in making decisions based on a combinationof analysis, wisdom, and judgment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously andmeet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the capability tounderstand complex business issues.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management or related role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex project portfolios.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with both waterfall and agile project methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certifications are highly desirable.
- Preferred: PMPCertification, Six Sigma Certification
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint andother project management software
- Preferred additional certifications: Six Sigma orrelated discipline.
- Travel may be required up to 25% depending on projectneeds.
- Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required.
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weights or otherwise move objects weighing as much as10 lbs. on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.
