Broadstep Behavioral Health, Inc is currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee general maintenance operations and ensure curb appeal of our residential group home locations throughout Illinois.

Schedule & Location :

• M-F, 8am-5pm
• This role is based in the Freeport , IL area.
• Paid on-call for after-hours emergencies.

Job Duties :

• Troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs to our residential group home locations, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical.
• Home improvement / repair tasks such as light fixture installation, installation of laminate / hardwood flooring / ceramic tile, floor refinishing (stripping, sanding, waxing, buffing), light carpentry, interior and exterior painting.
• Grounds keeping and landscaping maintenance.
• Installation of new appliances as needed.
• Ensure resident requested service orders are completed on a timely basis.
• Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property to always provide clean and acceptable curb appeal.
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety, and environmental laws.
• Oversee a team of 3 regional maintenance specialists.
• Manage scheduling, routine training, performance assessment, and quality assurance.
• Continually remain active, alert, and able to respond to all scenarios.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Education / Experience / Skills :

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and TB test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license that is unrestricted.
• A minimum of 3 years of residential maintenance experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in maintenance preferred.
• Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems. HVAC certification is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Able to be on-call to respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
