Job Description:
Broadstep Behavioral Health is actively hiring for a Housekeeping Specialist in the Kingstree, SC area. The role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the physical sites, to include but not limited to, responsibilities for cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and laundry. Additionally, the Housekeeping Specialist inventories the necessary housekeeping equipment and supplies and seeks the necessary approvals to re-order as needed to ensure just-in-time delivery. This role works in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility that serves children and adolescents experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges.

Schedule & Location:

• Located in Kingstree, SC
• Day Shift

Job Duties:

• Complete daily cleaning, housekeeping, and restocking of supplies during each shift to include proper documentation for all work completed using the program cleaning checklist.
• Execute deep cleaning projects as assigned.
• Resolve/repair all damaged or non-functioning company property. If unable to resolve/repair complete and submit a maintenance request form.
• Attend all mandatory team/department meetings.
• Provide organization and upkeep to the housekeeping department office and storage, to include a filing/tracking system of all housekeeping equipment.
• Track and maintain an inventory list of cleaning supplies currently in the housekeeping department and a list of needed supplies.
• Maintain cleaning supplies, solvents, equipment and other hazardous materials in a safe/secure manner.
• Maintain each program's Safety Data Sheets for all cleaning supplies, solvents and other hazardous materials used in the program(s) and ensure it is stored near each site eye wash station according to OSHA standards.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• You must be 21 years old.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Have a minimum of one (1) years' experience in housekeeping or environmental services.
• Have demonstrated high standards of professional behavior.'
• Possess a valid active driver's license with no restrictions.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB test.
• Possess patience and excellent communication.
