JobDescription:

Mental Health Therapistfor a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility for individuals ages 5-21.Must have a RN License.

1. Performfrequent patient evaluations and assessments of patients, and assist in thedevelopment of individual plans of care for resident clients.

2. Willperform medication management duties relating to client care, to include butnot limited to, medication administration, documentation, and providingsupervision to identified staff members responsible for the administration ofprescribed medication.

3. Willbe able to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions and progress ofclients, and will be able to adequately document and communicate theseresults/information to the attending physician in a timely manner.

4. Ensurenursing records are correctly maintained and given correctly at each shift.

5. Willassist in maintaining appropriate nursing staff coverage for all shifts asmandated and required.

6. Willprovide accurate and timely documentation of service in accordance withaccreditation and Medicaid guidelines.
