Broadstep Behavioral Health is Hiring an Administrator - Kingstree PRTF Near Florence, SC

Broadstep Behavioral Health is actively hiring for an Executive Administrator in the Kingstree, SC area. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) that provides care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), mental illness, and co-occurring disorders. The Executive Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership of the facility with a focus on driving collaboration of clinical, nursing, and operations teams, to ensure the highest quality of care and meaningful treatment for the individuals we serve.

Broadstep’s South Carolina programs offer compassionate care and evidence-based practices to stabilize, treat, and formalize a discharge plan at admission to move each individual to a community placement or family home when leaving one of our three Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities in the state. All South Carolina programs offer highly individualized treatment provided by a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, psychiatrists, therapists and direct support professionals. South Carolina offers a continuum of services to meet individual needs and is CARF accredited.

Schedule & Location:
  • Day Shift, M-F, 8am-5pm with flexibility.
  • Located in Kingstree, SC
Job Type:
This is a fully onsite role that is not eligible for remote work.
Job Duties:
  • Directs the day-to-day operations of the program and implements programmatic and administrative policies and procedures to attain program goals and objectives
  • Leadership of a cross functional team including therapists, nursing, and operations staff.
  • Overseeing all aspects of program facilitation
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual related requirements
  • Ensuring the facility meets all State licensing standards
  • Develop and manage the program budget ncluding responsibility for implementing, maintaining, and evaluating budgets, analyzing budget variances and developing explanation and/or corrective action plans.
  • Monitoring program operations to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with County and State regulatory bodies, community organizations and relevant industry partners.
  • Responsible for hiring, goal setting and performance development in collaboration with HR to all staff within the residential department.
  • Ensure all medical records and other documentation are current and within state and federal laws
  • Ensure compliance with team member training requirements.
  • Cooperate with the licensee and Department of Human Services staff in an inspection, inquiry or investigation.
  • Communicate with staff through regular team meetings and one-to-one’s
  • Execute the company’s strategic plan and Broadstep’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Required Education/Licenses/Credentials:
  • A master’s degree in business administration, operations, social work or related field.
Other Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience leading a diverse team
  • Prior experience working in the behavioral health industry or hospital/medical facility administration
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Problem solving skills when resolving administrative issues and conflicts
  • Detailed knowledge of policies and regulations
  • Ability to delegate and supervise tasks as required
  • Financial acumen – understanding of P&L statements, budget, and resources planning, in addition to evaluation of policy and procedures
