Job Description

Oracle Tester position responsible for testing and related duties on a small, dedicated team operating within a DHS Oracle-based applications. This Test member should possess solid working knowledge of commonly used concepts practices and procedures within testing. The position will also document and track software defects identified through testing and work with developers and support engineers to resolve outstanding issues.

Qualifications

• Should have minimum 5 - 8 years of experience as EBS Finance Tester (Oracle EBS Federal)
• 8 years or above experience as EBS Finance Tester (Oracle EBS Federal)
• Testing experience of P2P cycle (PO, AP, GL modules and SLA validation in EBS) and familiar with other modules AR, and FV
• Experience with PRISM/Comprizon/ CLM contracts/procurement applications is preferred
• Experience in Oracle EBS 12.2.X and higher versions preferred
• Create, execute, and document test plans, test data, test cases to ensure functional coverage in SIT and UAT and ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Work with technical, functional teams and external Vendor to deliver best testing solutions
• Conduct system testing in accordance with developed test procedures to validate that software modifications accomplish the intended result and verify that software modifications satisfy the identified requirement
• Write and modify SQL queries to perform database validations
• Identify, document, and track all software defects to closure
• Experience of Section 508 best practices is a plus
• Understanding of federal accounting processes is a plus
• Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
• Able to work flexibly as per project/task requirement
• Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and work with tight deadlines
• Excellent team player

Additional Information

Must be a US Citizen. Must physically reside in the US during the contract, and for at least 3 of 5 years immediately beforehand. This will enable the resource to acquire and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
