Plumbing Service Technician - Experienced Plumber

Location: Marmora, NJ

Full Time: Monday-Friday with Emergency Service On-Call Schedule

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 including Benefits & Bonuses ($40 - $55 per hour)

Job Summary:

This is manual work at the journeyman level in the maintenance, repair and installation of plumbing and water heater systems up to company standards, while providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Work involves performance of skilled plumbing tasks including maintaining, installing, repairing, and servicing a variety of plumbing fixtures and equipment. Must have experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and installing water heaters (standard and tankless), sump pumps, toilets, sinks, faucets, showers, various valves, pipes, and drains. Routine maintenance, service, and repair work are performed independently. Reports to the Service Manager and Dispatcher.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• 5 Years Experience in residential service and installation plumbing
• Provide excellent customer service to residential customers by educating them on plumbing services recommended in their home if a foreseeable and/or hazardous condition is detected.
• Gas Line experience a must
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized and proficient of reading blueprints
• Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes
• Willing to work in all types of weather
• Considerable knowledge of standard tools, methods, and materials of the plumbing trade
• Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings, and safety precautions of the work

• Light Commercial Experience a plus
• Draining Cleaning experience a plus
• Boiler Maintenance and Repair Knowledge
• Tankless Water Heater Maintenance and Repair Knowledge
