Position Summary:With minimal supervision, conducts functional testing on electronic components and RF units. Troubleshoots/repairs any test failures to component level. When necessary, performs defect analysis and repairs on customer returned units.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

• Test, align and troubleshoot complex audio, video and RF circuitry from component to system level.
• Work from drawings, diagrams, customer specifications, schematics and/or test procedures.
• Diagnose and analyze problems utilizing a variety of test equipment.
• Document test findings in detail.
• Utilize methodical and logical reasoning processes to resolve complex technical issues.
• Typically require exercising independent judgment and acquired knowledge of BMS products.
• Provides input for process improvements and development of product-level and sub-assembly test procedures.
• Performs tasks in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
• Trains and assists other technicians as needed.
• Other duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibility: May fulfill the role of Test Lead or Team Leader.Qualifications: Ø Education: Vocational/Technical degree or certification

• Experience: 4-7 years of experience in related field. Minimum 1-2 years of experience with RF equipment.
• Skills/Technical Requirements:
• Has specific knowledge and experience in RF frequency and digital circuitry.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum/network analyzers.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and engineering specifications.
• Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to read and understand written instruction in English.

Job Conditions: Perform duties while seated indoors at the workbench on the production floor for duration of shift and/or perform product field tests outside of the facility. The pay range for this position is $22 to $25 per hour. Physical Demands/Strengths: Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs overhead.Protective Devices Required: Use of an ESD wrist strap and any other appropriate PPE equipment for a specific task.
