Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities. This client is seeking a male caregiver due to personal care needs

Duties:

- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities

- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals

- Monitor and record vital signs

- Implement behavior management strategies as directed by supervisors

- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence

- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding

- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment

- Lift and transfer individuals as needed

Skills:

- Experience in senior care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred

- Knowledge of ADLs and providing personal care assistance

- Familiarity with direct support techniques and behavior management strategies

- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to lift and move objects or individuals as required

- Proficient in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards

- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
