Broad Bay Manor School is Hiring an Early Childhood - Preschool Assistant/Aide 2024-2025 school year Near Virginia, VA

Summary

The Manor Schools are committed to developing a love of learning for all our students through a unique individualized curriculum!

We are currently interviewing for assistants for our 2024-2025 school year starting at the end of August at Broad Bay Manor School

Candidates should exhibit creativity and adaptability to effectively engage and keep the attention of their young students. The ability to communicate clearly with students and their parents is also a vital quality, along with patience and the energy necessary to keep up with small children on a daily basis

Part time and full time positions could be available.

Duties
  • Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
  • Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
  • Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
  • Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
  • Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
  • Follow all center policies and state regulations.
  • Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
  • professional experience working with children
  • High energy.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • An understanding of child development.
  • Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
