Description :
Wage Range : $18-$22 per hour
Britton Lumber Company, a regional building materials wholesaler, has an immediate opening for a warehouse material handler / forklift operator at our Fairlee, VT location.
This person will be responsible for picking orders by hand or forklift, daily forklift inspection, loading and unloading of materials between warehouses and flatbed trailers, assistance in organization and cleaning of warehouse materials, and general yard and warehouse maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have :
Forklift certification with at least 2 years of experience preferred.
CDL license is a plus but is not required.
A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in a team environment
We want to hear from you! This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits including vacation and holiday pay, platinum health insurance plan, company paid long term disability and life insurance, and a 401k retirement plan.
Traditional overtime of time-and-a-half is paid based on a 40hr work week.
Wage depends on experience.
