Licensed Irrigator Manager:

Britton & Associates, Inc., a Design-Build-Garden Management firm specializing in upscale residential projects seeks a motivated individual for the position of Licensed Irrigator Manager.

The Licensed Irrigator Manager will be responsible for design, installation, maintenance, evaluation, diagnosis, and repairs of residential irrigation/sprinkler systems. Must have good customer service skills and a good driving record.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintain Britton & Associates company standards in all interactions, including but not limited to, interactions with clients and personnel.

- CAD of multi-zone residential irrigation systems

- Complete installation of irrigation systems

- Inspect, program, adjust, and repair irrigation systems

- Assess and maintain time sequencing of existing systems and develop watering schedules

- Educate homeowners on use of existing irrigation system and controller

- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance of irrigation systems

- Operate trenchers, tractors, and loaders

- Document employee and equipment use for each project.

- Maintain awareness of all budgets for assigned work and communication with manager and other project managers regarding any concerns about budget issues.

- Ensure all company equipment and vehicles are operated and maintained properly, including but not limited to initiating any needed action to remedy malfunctioning or unsafe equipment.

- Maintain all safety standards on every job and while on Britton & Associates property.

- Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Other Duties:

- Maintain uniform and PPE guidelines.

- Submit appropriate and proper billing for extra work performed

Qualifications:

Ideal applicant should have 5 years’ experience in irrigation and leadership skills and initiative to handle daily tasks and issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required (unless otherwise noted):

- Demonstrated knowledge of irrigation systems, with a preference of 5 years applied experience; Weathermatic Smart Link experience is extremely helpful.

- General knowledge of landscape maintenance.

- General knowledge of zoning and other guidelines and applicable laws.

- Valid driver’s license that meets Britton & Associates requirements.

- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.

- Strong conflict resolution skills
