WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Sr Manager Validation Compliance

SENIORITY LEVEL Mid-Senior Level

FUNCTION: Scientific Research & Development

LOCATION: Winston Salem, NC

 ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES 

This role is part of Regulatory Process and Compliance

The role is responsible for the lead and management of the standardization of enterprise level policies and procedures for implementation of Validation elements across our operating companies. Also, you will develop framework and processes for Validation-relevant elements in accordance with applicable corporate strategies and regulatory requirements. You will also lead key Validation initiatives to prepare operating companies for compliance. In addition to handling Change Control for Validation-relevant systems in response to business drivers or new regulation. Lastly, leading all aspects of contractor/consultant results (project plans, Validation documentation, training, etc.)

Reports to: Director Validation Compliance

Reporting Level: 0

Geographic Scope: Local

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR 

  • Review results for new and existing Validated systems
  • Perform audits of executed Validation protocols to ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices and other documentation requirements
  • Manage and raise Validation-related issues as appropriate
  • Effectively communicate Validation strategy and framework to diverse internal and external partner groups
  • Maintain excellent rapport with partners
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver Validation training
  • Provide metrics for business reporting
  • Ensure that formalized policies and procedures are developed and maintained to represent current process

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?  

  • Are you familiar with the requirements of 21 CFR Part 11 and approaches to achieve compliance with the regulation?
  • Do you have experience managing Validation/Qualification activities related to computer systems, equipment, test methods or processes?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE 

  • Experience managing Validation processes
  • Proficient with computer systems and common terminology
  • Results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet Validation timing and methodology requirements
  • Strong adherence to process and protocol
  • Acute attention to detail and resolution
  • Effective, accurate oral and written communication skills
  • BS degree with relevant experience (5 years), or
  • Associate degree with relevant experience (6 years), or
  • High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience (7 years)
