Overview

A full-time, live-out houseman/handyman is sought for a high-end Southampton residence, starting ASAP. Candidates will report directly to the estate manager (also placed by BAHS), and the schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, though candidates should be willing to offer more flexibility on weekends from May through July (inclusive) since the principals will be in residence 7 days per week during this period. This is a fully-staffed household.

Responsibilities

• Alerting the estate manager of, and spearheading, all and any necessary maintenance or repairs needed both inside and outside the property, e.g. changing lightbulbs, moving and heavy lifting, helping to set up event/party spaces, driving to pick things up/run errands, maintaining vehicles, putting things together (e.g. furniture/equipment or other)
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with household staff and vendors/contractors

Qualifications

• Be warm, friendly, collaborative, and a consummate team-player
• Be poised, polished, and professional
• Have multiple years of verifiable experience working in a similar role

Requirements

• US passport, Green Card or EAC 
• Clean and current driving record 
• Passport ready and willing to travel, if required 
• Willing to work weekends in the Summer months 
• Available to start ASAP
• Be local to Southampton - this opportunity is ONLY open to local candidates

Salary and Benefits

• $90-$120k per year, including full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k)
