Overview

A high-profile family in Menlo Park is seeking a part-time, live-out mother’s helper. The schedule will be a guaranteed 20 hours per week, from 8am through 12noon Monday through Friday, with the flexibility required to accommodate date nights or other with advanced notice. 

Responsibilities

• Mom is stay-at-home and loves spending time with her baby, so this will be a supporting role and candidates should be willing to be proactive and pitch in to help however it’s required e.g. food/snack prep (in due course), walking the family’s dog, doing the dishes, washing bottles, emptying the dishwasher, light laundry, receiving packages, running errands, and general tidying up or throwing a wash on if the housekeeper is sick, etc.
• Dinner prep will typically only ever be required if the parents go for dinner, otherwise, the parents love to cook and will manage this.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working in private homes in a similar context
• Swedish/Scandinavian or French language skills are a huge plus, but not a requirement. 

Requirements

• Be warm, kind, reliable, and calm with good manners and a solid moral compass
• Able to commute to Menlo Park (this role is not open to out-of-state candidates at this time)
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified and be non-smoker.
• COVID vaccinated (no boosters required), and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
• Passport ready and willing to travel, if required 
• Trustline registered (or willing to register ASAP)
• US passport, Green Card or EAC
• Available to start ASAP

Salary and Benefits

• $40-50 per hour
