Overview

A private family is seeking a full-time live-out executive housekeeper for their Pacific Heights, San Francisco 11,000 sq. ft. home. The home is fully staffed and the executive housekeeper will liaise as needed with other household staff. The hours will be Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm plus one weekend day (ideally once a month) for 4 hours. The family is willing to relocate a candidate for this role; there will be a 90-day trial period in which the candidate may live in staff housing during this period. Current/former yacht stewardesses are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of 2-3 housekeepers
• General housekeeping and upkeep including but not limited to:
  • Cleaning
  • Making the beds
  • Laundry
  • Ironing
  • Steaming
  • Keeping the kitchen clean
• Helping to prep the home for dinner parties and when the principals are expecting guests
• Oversee managing the household inventory
• Liaising with other household staff to assure all needed items are brought to the house on a weekly basis (the family has a fully stocked warehouse with supplies)
• The candidate to hire will not need to do any shopping, running errands, cooking, or dog-walking, however, being comfortable with working around a dog is required as there is 1 small dog in the home

Requirements

• Have experience with silver and precious flooring and tabletops (the home has items that require careful attention to cleaning). The fine artwork in the home is cared for by an outside professional vendor. 
• This person must also be able to communicate via text, call, and email, as they will be emailed nightly the tasks and things to know for the following workday
• The candidate to hire must have several years’ experience as an executive housekeeper, specifically in a HNW/formal home
• Be a natural and present leader
• Be delicate and careful when cleaning
• Be detail-oriented
• Must be legal to work in the US

Salary and Benefits

• The hourly rate range is $60-$70, contingent on experience
• A 30-minute paid lunch will be provided when working a full day and the lunch will be provided by the family’s chef
• The candidate to hire will qualify for benefits after an initial 90-day period
