Overview

A sweet couple in New Canaan, CT is seeking a nighttime NCS to support them (starting ASAP) for their first baby, who arrived Wednesday, May 15th. The schedule will be 5 nights per week with 12-hour nights Sunday-Thursday (finishing the week Friday morning) for about 8 weeks. The candidate can live-in (off during the days) or live-out (commute in and out). Please apply even if you're only available for part of the contract!

Responsibilities

• Care of the baby in alignment with safety standards and the parents' goals 
• Establishment and management of the baby's sleep and feeding schedules
• Guidance and education of the parents as they encounter all the firsts with their new addition
• Light housekeeping related to the baby (his laundry, bottle-washing, etc.) when time allows

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate is warm, knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and a gracious roommate.

Requirements

• Legal to work in the US
• Trained as a newborn care specialist

Salary and Benefits

• $35-$40 per hour
