Overview
A wonderful couple in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a long-term NCS to work day shifts for their child, due in late July 2024 and lasting for at least 6 months (through January 2025).
The schedule will be a split 12 / 12 shift in order to provide 24 / 7 coverage. This person will work the days and the other NCS (who has been hired) will work nights.
The candidates can be local to LA and commute back and forth or can live on the property in separate, private accommodations.
If the start date is just out of reach of the right candidate, other NCS is willing to work 24 / 7 for 2-4 weeks until they're available.
The ideal candidate will have a positive and calm demeanor, glowing references, and plenty of experience working in long-term roles.
The family is looking for professional, thoughtful, experienced, and serious candidates about teaching a baby to sleep through the night.
They are excited to bring on two team players to support them and the baby. The most successful candidates will have evidence-based approaches, strong communication and social skills, and an easygoing attitude.
The responsibilities include care and engagement of their newborn, developmental milestone encouragement, and light housekeeping related to the baby such as bottle sanitizing and keeping the nursery organized.
Simply due to the nature of the baby's development, the schedule will be more intensive during the first 3-6 months of the term.
There will be some travel involved in the role, both international and domestic, which one or both the NCSs will be expected to join and assist in logistics for.
You must be up to date on all relevant vaccines, including COVID. A valid driver's license is required for this role . The length of the term will be paid on the books and the hourly rate offered is between $30 and $60 per hour.
