Overview

A lovely family of 5 is seeking a nanny to join them in the Hamptons for the summer season. This position requires a nanny to live-in during the week, and the family would love to find someone who is flexible to stay over occasionally on the weekend.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 : 30am-6 : 30 or 7pm. The family has three children, aged 4, 6, and 1 month. There is a newborn care specialist for the infant, so duties will mainly be for the older two children.

If the nanny is interested in continuing on in the fall, the family would be open to that, as they will be hiring a full-time nanny for the infant at that time.

During the school year they are based in Tribeca.

Responsibilities

• Care for two girls, aged 4 and 6
• Transportation to and from camp and activities
• Plan and execute fun and engaging outings and projects with the children
• Light child-related housekeeping and laundry
• Children's meal preparation

Qualifications

• Experience with preschool and school-aged children
• Warm, loving, patient
• Fun and engaging, and willing to run around and actively play with the children
• Fluent in Spanish (not required but highly desired)

Requirements

• Driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to swim and supervise children in the water
• Available to live-in Monday through Friday (the family is open to 7-day live-in for the right fit)
• Covid vaccinated and recently boosted, flu vaccinated, and up-to-date TDap (as there is a newborn in the home)

Salary and Benefits

$30-40 / hr.
